I took in my 2002 BMW 530i in that needed a front end Rack & Pinion system, not only did I get that fixed but they found and replaced bent suspension arm supports that were replaced for a outstanding price. I am really happy with their quality service that I recommend them to anyone with a European or American car or truck, you will not be disappointed. Also I got my car windows tinted while being worked on from a great shop near the shop that did mobile service. Two thumbs up in Tulare California.

Fantastic family run business! Came down here from Alberta, Canada in August to see The General Sherman Tree. Called on a Thursday afternoon and Al had me in on Friday at 8:30 am to diagnose that my AC compressor was seizing up. It was making a heck of a racket. Was referred to Tulare automotive to replace my valve cover and gasket on my bmw and they didn't disappoint normally never take my car too any shop but bmw. I've called plenty of shops and checked them out on google but never took my car due to me not having full trust or confidence in those shops but these guys just gained a new customer. They had my car done in a day and even upgraded my valve cover from plastic to aluminum cover the staff were excellent in helping me feel comfortable and confident in them and the pricing was by far the best. Took a used car here to have them do a pre-purchase check. Price was very reasonable for all that they tested. The dealership had detailed the car like new and it test drove nicely. We were almost ready to buy. However, Tulare Auto found a potentially significant issue in the diagnostic code history. Also found the rear shocks were shot, valve cover leak, and serpentine belt needed replacing. The dealership wouldn't make any accomodations so we didn't buy the car. Thanks to Brent for saving us potentially major issues and expenses.

SOME OF THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!! I brought my 2013 Ford Flex in from Nevada to switch over to California tags and plates. I needed a smog check and some catalytic converters installed. I was able to get 2/3 installed no problem. The last one had to be hunted down, Brent did some outstanding searching for that last part and found it. I went to pick it up and they had it finished in a day. I don't think they have a formal "MILITARY DISCOUNT" but since it racked up so quickly the owner was cool and gave me a bit of a break. All together this place is a top notch shop and should definetly be considered for your auto needs. I plan on going back in the future to have some after market exhaust put on as well.

True Story! My Kia Optima hybrid died completely no power what so ever! I had it towed to Visalia Kia to be told their is 1 month wait to get my car back! Who is supposed to be okay without having their car for a whole month! So I was completely devastated. I felt helpless after contacting multiple shops none of them said they worked on hybrids. Mr Brent helped me upon my 12pmish arrival but I didn't catch the names of the gentleman who helped me about 4pm and one of the other mechanics. We walked in a a gentleman was on the phone so we had to wait for him to acknowledge us and others when he was ready and after about 5 min or so, then the mechanic assisted me with my payment and gave me some helpful info. Then the gentleman was off the phone and he was friendly and re explained some things but otherwise told me that my vehicle was in good condition. Thankfully, I my mom lives near and we could see that my car was sitting outside in a different area so I knew it was done, but nobody called me, so we walked over. I usually get my synthetic oil change in San Diego from Ford because I have a coupon for $49 so with all the fees it's about $65, but since I been visiting the past month here I fished out about $89 and can't really complain because I got what I needed and had a good experience. Just wished they rotate the for that price. I feel as if the staffs are honest, professional and helpful. Told my sister to bring her cars here along with my mom. Also gave them 5 stars on Yelp and had to put them on the map. On Yelp they are still an unclaimed business. To all the staffs, thank you for all that you do and continue to be safe. God bless.

I was told by a Visalia transmission shop that my clutch needed to be replaced, but they couldn't get to it until next week. I called two other shops (in Tulare) who told me they were booked until next week, as well. I saw Tulare Automotive Repair had 4.8 star rating, so I thought I would call them as I have previously used them for smog checks. They told me I could bring my vehicle in right away, which was around 11:30am. While I waited, he took my vehicle on test drive, invited me to go with him to assure he was hearing the same problem I was trying to explain, and gave me an estimate for the repairs. The problem turned out to be the fan clutch. He ordered the part, installed it, and did a smog check, and my vehicle was ready by 4:30pm the same day. Tulare Automotive Repair is not like one of those shops that I like to refer to as "white shirts" - the ones where you walk in the front door and someone in a white shirt (with no grease on it or on their hands) greets you. Tulare Automotive Repair was knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and had the repairs completed the same day as promised. They have earned a repeat customer when I need repair work in the future.

We came in with faulty brakes on a late Saturday morning (with them closing at 12:30 pm that day I believe), and they gladly took the car in to fix even if it went past their regularly closed time. Since we were visiting from out of town, they offered to pick us up from our hotel once the car was done so we wouldn't have to walk in the summer heat. Definitely recommend their services!

I have a 2001 saturn sc2 i love my little car... I took my car here because it wouldnt pass smog because of an secondary air flow issue and catalyst problem... These guys were nice took time to talk and made me feel comfortable leaving my car. They had my car for two days because a part i needed was dealer only. He saved me a 1000 ? because my catalyst was still good and it was one part in the secondary that was bad. They even noticed that my motor mounts were bad and recommended that i fixed them so the shaking wouldnt cause anymore problems. When i got my car back i kid u not it runs so smooth like a brand new car all over again and it passed smog. The prices where great and affordable. From now one this is were im going.

What can I say? Alphonso and Brent did another outstanding job fixing my 08 Toyota FJ Cruiser! A few months ago it was the water pump (probably the original one) that needed replacing. This time it was the head gasket which, on this car, was a LONG process. Very labor intensive that requires more than a few days to correct. 300 miles driven since the repair and will get taken back in for a fresh oil change at 500 miles. If you want quality repairs and competitive labor rates from certified technicians, go see these guy!

I was driving from LA to Stockton this past Friday (Dec. 8th) when part of my exhaust snapped where it connects near the engine. I rolled in about 4:30, just a half hour before the shop closed expecting only to figure out what the problem was. However the two employees were adamant they could get me back on the road. They explained my problem to me clearly (me not having any mechanical know-how), and got me out within half an hour. The service was amazing, staff was friendly, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We were travelling from California to Washington when we broke down in Tulare, CA, just after 12:00. While waiting for tow service, I started calling shops to see who could at least look and diagnose the problem that day. Tulare Auto Repair was the first shop willing to look at the truck and diagnose the issue that day. They did just that and ordered parts for work to be done the following morning. Complications occurred the next day and further parts ordered for completion of repairs the next day. Work was completed morning of the second day, and we were back on the road to Washington. The shop worked very hard to get us back on the road as soon as possible. At all times the staff was courteous and helpful. We felt we were working with people we could trust. We are very happy with the service we received and the work that was done. Hopefully we won't break down in Tulare again, but if we do I know right where to go. I would happily utilize Tulare Auto Repair again, and I highly recommend them to anyone local who is in need of quality auto repair with a quality experience.
